Duties:

  • Handle life sciences and pharmaceutical patent litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for patent-related matters.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex litigation strategies.
  • Participate in trial preparations and support during court proceedings.
  • Manage case files and client communication.
  • Review and analyze scientific data related to patent disputes.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or chemistry.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a relevant life sciences field.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and legal teams.
  • Analytical thinking to review scientific and technical information related to patents.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage complex litigation processes.
