Key Responsibilities: • Review complex Financial Institutions and Management Liability claims • Determine nature of loss, coverage provided, and scope of claim • Make recommendations for settlement and disposition of claims • Responsible for severity inventory • Document coverage, investigation, damages, and negotiations • Work with internal and external partners on severity matters • Identify and navigate complicated coverage issues • Prepare reports and authority requests for senior management • Travel for mediations or settlement conferences as needed Qualifications: • • 7-10 years of relevant claims handling experience or equivalent legal experience • Proficient in analyzing coverage and drafting coverage correspondence • Experience with Complex Professional Liability claims • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Adjuster's license Benefits: • Competitive base salary: New York, NY/Red Bank, NJ $110 - $150K; Short Hills, NJ $100 - $140K; Chicago, IL $90 - $130K; Alpharetta, GA $85 - 120K • Incentive targets based on corporate and individual performance • Comprehensive benefits package including medical plans, wellness programs, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement • Diverse and inclusive company culture At AXIS Capital, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
