Job Title: Wills, Trusts, And Estates Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Palm City, FL is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join the team. This role involves assisting clients with estate planning and probate matters, emphasizing personalized strategies to help preserve and safeguard their legacies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, client interaction, and collaborative work.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of client cases from start to finish
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and external counsel/advisors
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including revocable living trusts
• Formulate effective legal strategies to meet client objectives
• Attend occasional court hearings related to estate planning or probate
• Supervise the trust funding process

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
• Demonstrated experience in estate planning (minimum of 50 drafted plans) and/or probate cases (attorney of record for at least 25 cases)
• Experience managing a full caseload independently
• Strong research and writing proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school
• LLM in taxation or estate planning (preferred)

Certifications:

• Membership with The Florida Bar (required)
