A law firm in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a Family Law Attorney with at least 1 year of experience in family law, preferably within Arizona. The ideal candidate will work alongside three senior family law attorneys and a professional support staff. This role requires handling a diverse range of family law matters, including dissolution, post-decree modifications, child custody, and parenting agreements, with a strong focus on client service and case management.
Duties:
- Collaborate with senior family law attorneys and professional staff to manage family law cases.
- Handle dissolution, post-decree modifications, child custody, parenting agreements, and paternity cases.
- Develop and deliver effective case strategies, ensuring thorough preparation and excellent outcomes.
- Represent clients in settlement conferences and mediations, demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
- Conduct extensive legal research and prepare persuasive written materials.
- Manage case files efficiently, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Provide exceptional client service, maintaining clear communication and addressing client needs promptly.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member of the Arizona State Bar in good standing or the ability to gain reciprocal admission within 30 days of the employment offer.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing family law, preferably in Arizona.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a high caseload with a commitment to excellent client service and work-product.
- Proven experience in handling dissolution, post-decree modifications, child custody, and related family law matters.
- Experience with settlement conferences and mediations, showcasing strong negotiation skills.
Education:
