Procurement Contract Specialist
Duties: Support negotiation and contract formation activities for medium to high complexity contracts. Enforce processes to effect compliance and management proactively by collaborating with the client and the Sourcing and Category management team.(e.g. change order processes). Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit and legal to ensure all legal and contractual matters are addressed. Develop and maintain relationship with client’s legal and/or procurement representatives for their respective accounts. Work closely with the client legal team, to ensure seamless contract formation and contract execution support is delivered to the organization. Support negotiation and contract formation activities for medium to high complexity contracts.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. 5+ years of experience drafting and reading contracts. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member. Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers at various levels of an organization. Ability to work effectively with multiple customer professionals, in-house lawyers and suppliers. Adaptable communication style to enable conformance with our customers’ varied corporate cultures and organizational structures. Ability to provide our customers’ positions on issues effectively, and to reach resolution in a positive and efficient manner.
Bonus Points: Paralegal certificate or law degree, preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
