ProfileDirector - Contracting & Business Development The candidate oversees the contracting process, ensures that CMHC business-timelines are met, and oversees related staff responsible for maintaining a database of, and process all CMHC contracts. Also analyzes contracts for compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and remains current in all matters of law and regulatory compliance related to contracting in a healthcare environment including, but not limited to, HIPAA, 340B compliance, CMS, and Joint Commission.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: The candidate should have a J.D. and/or advanced degree in business Administration or Finance, admittance to ME Bar Assoc. desirable. Should have 5-7 years-experience in contracting & contract management, preferably in the Healthcare field. Ability to prioritize workload independently. Advanced computer knowledge Excel, Word, & MS Outlook/Groupwise; intermediate knowledge in Access environment.
