Profile

Principal Contract Administrator Responsibilities: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Principal Contract Administrator requires 6 years related work experience with Bachelor’s degree or 4 Year related work experience with a Masters or JD degree. Senior Principal Contracts Administrator requires 10 years related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8 years related work experience with Masters or JD degree. Demonstrated success in practicing highly effective verbal and written communications including presentations. Familiarity with the FAR/DFARS a plus.
