Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment - Investigations
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide employment law support for HR internal investigations. Advising on internal investigations to be conducted by the HR Investigations team, including partnering with investigators on strategy and witness interviews. Making recommendations as to action needed, including recommendations on discipline, in connection with HR investigations. Communicating case status updates to relevant stakeholders. Participating in close-out meetings with investigators, HR, and the impacted business. Reviewing written investigation reports. Advising on investigation processes and training programs. Work extended hours when necessary to connect with colleagues in LATAM, APAC, and EMEA.

Qualification and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS: JD degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state Bar . 8+ years of experience in labor and employment law. In-house legal department or secondment experience. Experience investigating and/or advising on investigations of employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and policy violations. Experience with California employment law. Employment litigation experience. Experience working with and influencing cross-functional partners. PREFERRED: California Bar Membership. Experience with international employment issues.
