The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cases from start to finish, including client communication, drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court. This position is suited for a passionate attorney who excels in handling sensitive matters such as divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and asset division.

Location:

• Huntington Beach, CA

Duties:

• Understand clients' needs, analyze their situations, and develop legal strategies to achieve desired outcomes
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and conferences
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders
• Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings
• Maintain organized and up-to-date client files
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel throughout the legal process

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of California
• Proven background in family law with experience handling issues such as child and spousal support, parenting time, domestic violence, and asset division
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong advocacy skills, both in and out of court

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar license

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Ability to empathize with clients while maintaining professionalism in emotionally charged situations
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case management
