Contract Implementation & Compliance Specialist II RESPONSIBILITIES: Contract Implementation & Compliance for assigned Regions: Intake or generate new contracts and amendments to analyze and assign sections to appropriate departments. Manage approval process for new contracts and amendments, including scheduling calls or meetings with subject matter experts and Legal as required. Capture internal and external revisions throughout the drafting process. Prepare final contracts/amendments for execution. Maintain database or other storage solution for executed contracts Intake audit requests, including audit tools, from clients, and disseminate deliverables requirements with appropriate background and context to internal subject matter experts. Audit contract compliance and metrics requirements. Coordinate completion of audit requests, including audit tools, and submit to clients Coordinate client visits associated with audits Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients. Benefits Documents Draft of Evidence of Coverage and related documents, including Subscriber Certificates and Subscriber Policies, Schedule of Benefits, Benefit Riders, Group Agreement and other product descriptions setting forth benefits available to members. File final benefit documents and product descriptions with state regulators across the assigned region(s), using the SERFF system among other filing methodologies. Act as primary contact with regulators across the country with respect to product design and filing matters. Outreach to and communicate with state regulators regarding benefit documents and the Company’s products. Manage outside counsel regarding the same. Work and communicating with the company’s marketing department regarding the same. Work on company’s product design teams Participate in product development efforts. Coordinate relevant company personnel to provide the information necessary to prepare and file benefit documents and product descriptions. Perform legal and factual research as necessary to support the above activities. Overall: Update Contract Implementation and Compliance Manager regularly on status of audit activities. Organize workflow throughout various departments to create improvements and efficiencies in the audit process. Formulate ideas and processes in response to audit findings. Perform miscellaneous tasks and assist with projects as assigned by the Contract Implementation and Compliance Manager. Represent in a professional manner at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of related business experience, paralegal or other law firm In-house legal experience preferred. Ability to effectively work with clients, as well as internal departments as required to accomplish each task. Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills required. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Self-motivated, and ability to work with little supervision and make independent decisions. Extensive knowledge of general computer software required. (Excel, MS Word, and Access a plus). Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work overtime as needed or required. Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary.
