Temporary Part-Time Legal Assistant/Paralegal Duties: Provide excellent customer service and build trusting relationships with both current and prospective clients. Working primarily in workersâ€™ compensation and employment practice areas. Will be performing a variety of tasks as needed to support the firm and will assist with client communication, monitoring cases, maintaining calendars and office administration. Will also be responsible for taking calls from potential clients with an expectation of selling and closing the sale of our services. When not dealing directly with client communication, will perform a number of office management/administrative tasks, including filing; following up on cases with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel; preparing and collecting on client invoices; and various miscellaneous duties as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Excellent phone and communication skills who also has the ability to prioritize, work independently, and multi-task while maintaining excellent customer service. Should be computer proficient, with strong typing and writing skills and the ability to learn and quickly become proficient in new computer software programs. Be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively, both independently and within a team. Ability to build relationships, people skills, initiative, closing skills, and a cheerful and high energy personality.
