Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process from case inception to trial/arbitration/settlement. Responsibilities include: Organize case files; Monitor court calendars; Compile and organize exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trials; Manage document production; organize documents for discovery, motions, trials, and pre-trial planning; Proofread, edit, and cite and fact check legal documents; File documents electronically and in New York and New Jersey area courts. Should have been the lead paralegal at trial, and will have considerable experience with e-filing and privilege log preparation. Must have a BA or BS degree. Must have 5+ years of large firm experience. Should have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, DeltaView are highly preferred.
