Transfer Pricing Specialist
The candidate will assist the CIB Americas Tax Department in complying with all U.S. tax transfer pricing requirements for company's CIB Americas, including facilitating coordination of company’ global tax transfer pricing policies, procedures, and methodologies with Paris Direction Fiscale to ensure uniform execution across multiple jurisdictions. Work closely with company's CIB Americas Legal, Front Office and other internal and external constituents in analyzing, maintaining, and reviewing intercompany service level and various other agreements. Manage establishment of a transformative and effective design and operation of a transfer pricing technical, operational, governance and control framework. Maintain annual inventory of CIB Americas transfer pricing issues, quantification of financial statement impacts for submission to and review by financial statement auditors. Participate in drafting, review, and implementation of transfer pricing agreements, and assist in establishing governance and controls over same. Manage and participate in the gathering and maintenance of contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation in support of “arm’s length” pricing of intercompany services and financial transactions. Manage audit defense via the preparation of written responses to Information Document Requests (IDR’s) issued by U.S. Federal, state, and local auditors. Manage annual updates to CIB Americas Tax Department Policies & Procedures related to transfer pricing, and ensure adherence. Work closely with Paris Direction Fiscale to leverage existing and future relationships with all internal and external constituents.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Undergraduate degree in accounting or law, graduate study or law school with concentration in Tax preferred. Should have 7 - 10+ years tax experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), related accounting and/or tax technology software tools. Solid verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills. Project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and respond creatively, quickly, and accurately to demands of a challenging environment. Highly organized with attentiveness to detail. Self-motivated, with ability to work independently while understanding the need for collaboration. Administrative proficiency, with ability to complete tasks consistently with high degree of accuracy. Proficiency in formally documenting analyses and conclusions to increase efficiency of review. High degree of integrity, strong work ethic. Support and promote best practices within department to perform assigned duties and enhance control over procedures throughout the organization. CPA, chartered accountant and/or law license strongly preferred.
