ProfileIncome Maintenance Caseworker II The candidate performs IMC functions in the intake eligibility unit, specifically working in the Family/Children Medicaid, FNS, and CIP programs. Perform all eligibility functions for application processing. Interviewing clients to obtain required information, completing applications, entering data into NC Fast and Northwoods, verifying information obtained, and determining eligibility. Work includes documentation and accurate completion of pertinent forms. Work involves direct contact with the client and direct or indirect contact with the client's family or representative and/or collaterals in order to gather and verify information necessary to determine client's eligibility. Excellent customer service, written, and organizational skills are required. Must have Graduation from an accredited associate degree program in Human Services Technology, Social Services Associated, Paralegal Technology, Business Administration, Secretarial, or a closely related curriculum: or graduation from high school and 3 years of paraprofessional, clerical, or other public contact, which included negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling of data, analysis of data and/or performance of mathematical program: or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with NC FAST highly desirable and /or Income Maintenance Caseworker/NC FAST and Intro to Human Services Certificate. Deadline: 15 April 2018.
