Workers' Compensation Attorney
The candidate's responsibilities include day-to-day handling of both pre-litigation and litigation cases. Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum. Guiding clients through the case process. Interacting with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits. Attending and preparing depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Should have 5+ years of worker's compensation experience. Should have the ability to manage a high volume of cases/hearings. Must have licensed and in good standing with respective Bar. Excellent client service and communication skills required along with superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Must be a self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
