Law Fellow (Fall 2018 Fellowship Sponsor) Fellow’s project would primarily address issues related to reproductive rights and health, economic justice, and immigrant rights that impact women and girls. Will engage a variety of public interest lawyering strategies, including litigation, policy and legislative advocacy, and community organizing, as part of their work.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have obtained a JD Degree or equivalent (by the start of the fellowship). Will have excellent legal research and writing skills, a strong interest in policy analysis and formation, and a demonstrated commitment to social justice, particularly reproductive justice, civil rights, women’s rights, and/or LGBTQ rights. Prior experience working with communities, immigrant communities, and/or communities of color is preferred. Fluency in an Asian language is a plus.
