Duties:

  • Offer guidance and strategic advice on traditional labor matters.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
  • Participate in training and mentorship sessions to develop legal skills and professional growth.
  • Engage in community outreach and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, including a clerkship, in labor and employment law.
  • Interest in representing management in employment law matters, including wage disputes, employee benefits, and traditional labor issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear advice to clients.
  • Proactive and dedicated to delivering top-quality legal services.
  • Willingness to learn and develop expertise under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the bar in the state of Vermont or eligible to apply for admission.
