Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in removal proceedings and matters before USCIS
- File applications for immigration benefits and write motions and briefs on various immigration issues
- Attend hearings and interviews, and effectively manage a demanding caseload
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop cases and build trusting relationships with clients
- Maintain accurate case files and data in accordance with professional responsibility rules

Qualifications:

- Admitted to New York State Bar or willing to get admitted
- Minimum of 2 years experience in relevant field
- Fluent in a second language preferred
- Highly organized and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Position Information:

- Exempt, salaried position
- Normal schedule is Monday to Friday, with some in-person requirements
- Salary determined based on education and experience
