Lateral Criminal Defense Attorney The candidate will be responsible to advocate for individuals charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses in the Tulsa Criminal Courts. Appear in various proceedings including but not limited to arraignments, hearings and trials in criminal courts. Provide comprehensive representation in collaboration with attorneys and advocates in other practice areas to avoid or mitigate any enmeshed consequences that may arise out of our clients’ contact with the criminal court system. Consistently be prepared to litigate and confidently engage in skillful negotiations with judges, prosecutors, and other actors within the systems our clients navigate. Co-counsel cases in other venues (ie. Juvenile Court, Civil Court, etc.) as necessary or desired. The candidate must have 3 years of experience in the field of Criminal Law or a related field. D. from an American Bar Association accredited law school is needed. Membership in good standing to the Oklahoma Bar or eligibility for admission to the Oklahoma Bar is necessary. Must Sit for the Oklahoma State Bar Examination or submit the appropriate materials necessary for waiver.
