This role offers a dynamic opportunity to practice immigration law, handling a variety of immigration cases. The position involves direct client interaction, court appearances, and trial exposure. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred but not required.

Location:

• Waltham, MA

Duties:

• Handle a full range of immigration law matters.
• Manage a heavy caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Write and prepare legal documents clearly and concisely.
• Conduct client interviews in person, via phone, or through email.
• Attend USCIS interviews and EOIR-Removal hearings in Immigration Court, either in person or via video conference.
• Represent clients in immigration proceedings and provide legal advice.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Strong writing, computer, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of critical detail efficiently.
• Comfort with extensive client contact in various formats (in-person, phone, email).
• Ability to handle a dynamic workload with court appearances and trial exposure.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in legal documentation.
