Director Of Employee Relations And Associate General Counsel The candidate will Identify, develop and facilitate delivery of programs to people managers, non-management employees and members of the HR department on critical issues/topics including: harassment, discrimination, ADA, performance management, investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, employee communication/engagement, policy interpretation, employment law (keeping it legal), HIPPA, FMLA, Diversity, Ethics etc. Provide leadership is the formulation/maintenance of HR policies and procedures. Conduct internal investigations in partnership with HR Business Partners. Manage and track litigation. Oversee all in-house discrimination charges. Negotiate and draft consulting contracts and agreements. Provide day to day advice/counsel on a range of HR matters including, but not limited to, harassment discrimination, leaves of absence (e.g., FMLA, workers compensation), workplace conduct, performance management, coaching and communication. Advise on and mitigate risk to the organization addressing a variety of complex/sensitive employment related matters. Must have JD degree from an accredited law school. Should have 15 years of related legal experience.
