Bilingual (Spanish / English) Legal Assistant The candidate will undertake a broad set of legal administrative and clerical tasks, such as providing support to Raleigh attorney, speaking with and collecting information from clients, and assisting in general administrative activities. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize work using tools and software like Microsoft Outlook and Word. Legal Assistant responsibilities are: Speak to clients to collect information and documents; Organize client documents for filings and case folders; Schedule client calls and new client appointments; Work with the firm's other offices to help with interpreting and translation; Arrange events, appointments and travels; Manage phone calls and correspondence (including email, memos, letters, faxes and forms); Attend meetings and take detailed minutes; Meet and support visitors; Monitor office supplies and research new deals and suppliers; Prepare and submit expense reports.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have College degree; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or a Secretary will be a bonus. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Should have good practical experience with MS Office, particularly MS Outlook and Word. Must have strong time management and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize work. Experience and interest in immigration law a plus. Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin and plus.
