Contracts Administrator
The candidate will be responsible for incoming contract requests and questions from internal clients. Responsible for all phases of contract administration, including review, risk assessment, redlining, securing internal approvals, execution of agreements, and management of all contract records. Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including contract expirations, renewals, extensions, terminations, and amendments. Ensure proper contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with company policies, legal and accounting requirements, and conformance to master agreements, if any. With attorney supervision, draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including CDAs, MSAs, SOWs, CTAs, Quality Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and Amendment Agreements. Review, maintain and update the company's contract templates and clause libraries. Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the organization regarding contractual matters, including R&D, Clinical, Business Development, Commercial, Finance, and Human Resources. Educate internal clients on contract processes, policies, and guidelines. Support internal and external audits and litigation activities. Provide as-needed support on all other matters requested by members of the Legal Department.



Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification and 5+ years of contract management and administration experience, preferably at a clinical-stage or commercial life sciences company. Deep understanding of operational contracts, including CDAs, MSAs, MTAs, and SOWs. Should have the ability to manage multiple work streams, and deliverables and coordinate across functional initiatives to meet deadlines in a high-volume, high-demand environment. Should have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy and discretion, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Should have strong communication skills, verbal and written, to work collaboratively across the company and with external partners to successfully build professional relationships. Should have a strong drive and willingness to own projects and see them to completion. Should have advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, DocuSign, and contract management software.
