A law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Global Finance Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in corporate, structured finance, real estate, commercial finance, securities, public finance, or a combination of these areas. The ideal candidate will have strong financial, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to work independently and engage directly with clients. This role offers involvement in a dynamic practice that includes new origination of collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), asset-backed securities, corporate bonds, specialty finance, and resolution of distressed transactions. Job Duties:

  • Participate in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex finance transactions, including collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), asset-backed securities, corporate bonds, and specialty finance products.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to finance laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and review transactional documents.
  • Provide advice and support to clients on various financial matters, including restructuring and distressed transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters and strategy development.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication to ensure client objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate, structured finance, real estate, commercial finance, securities, public finance, or a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
