Legal Administrative Assistant Duties: Working with individuals within the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Will handle general file maintenance, attorney time entry, scheduling, electronic expense requests, electronic file opening, e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts, conflict search requests, including coordination with administrative support in other offices for all of the foregoing. Assist and support all aspects of a busy litigation practice including: commercial disputes, business torts, real estate, banking, fiduciary duty, fraud, class action, and unfair competition claims. Be in direct contact with clients to schedule meetings and general telephone and must have strong skills in oral communication in a professional setting.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 3+ years of Legal Administrative support experience. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint a plus. Ability to communicate in Spanish language is a plus. Should be highly motivated, able to communicate clearly and professionally, possess a cooperative, team-oriented personal manner and have well-developed administrative and organizational skills. Must display a keen eye for detail while working independently and must be able to create Microsoft Office Word documents that require elementary features to complex formatting such as Styles and Formatting, Tables of Authorities and other document related functionalities.
