Rosemont office of our client seeks an assistant team leader with 8+ years related work experience providing leasing products on a nationwide basis. The candidate will be accountable for the overall management and coordination of documentation of transactions between the Affiliate and Direct Sales Support Team, the Affiliate and Direct SalesForce, the Customer, Technical Resources and upper management. Responsible for the management of and accuracy of documentation, booking, funding and lien perfection of all Affiliate & Direct lease transactions by providing technical guidance, direction and mentoring to Documentation Specialists. Provide the highest quality of service to every customer and work as a team to provide extensive customer service. Administer the Leasing Company's lease and loan portfolio. Serve as a liaison to the affiliate banks on issues relating to portfolio management. Also acts asa liaison to Commercial Operations addressing data quality and process improvement. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank?s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. Manage deployment of Documentation Specialist resources within Sales Support - Documentation team to ensure transactions are completed timely and accurately and employees have the appropriate training and experience to fulfill their functions. Operate as a technical resource to Sales Support personnel, specifically Documentation Specialists, relating to documentation, booking, lien perfection, and funding of transactions. Prior to funding, audit files for adherence to Fifth Third policies, procedures and product guidelines. This includes pricing and transaction structure, collateral evaluation, credit write-ups, and sales and property and income tax implications. Facilitate and provide support in the documentation negotiation process between Customers and Affiliate/Direct Sales Personnel and applicable technical support departments, such as legal, tax, credit and residual review to ensure modifications to standard documents are acceptable within approved standard or are approved by management. Provide guidance and monitor the preparation of all lease and loan contracts ensuring that documents are appropriate to the transaction, protect Fifth Third's risk position and incorporate any negotiated language. Responsible for training of Documentation Specialists on transaction-related issues, ensuring elevation to the management of specific developmental needs that can improve the overall performance of Sales Support - Documentation team. Facilitate and contribute to the process of continuous improvement by making process enhancement recommendations, assisting in procedure development, and identifying gaps that impact effectiveness and productivity. Prepare and update training materials for the Documentation Specialist function. Provide a backup resources for management of the unit in the absence of Team Leader. Provide periodic written recommendations and feedback to the Team Leader regarding the job performance of Documentation Specialists, as well as assisting in the hiring and selection processes. Serve as a liaison to affiliates on issues relating to transaction documentation and portfolio management. Manage the development and implementation of file imaging project. Responsible for assisting Team Leader in the following duties (i) providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; (ii) developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; (iii) developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; and (iv) recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments. Info lease experience is required. Must have 5+ years of supervisory experience.
