Job Summary

We have a great opportunity for a technology lawyer to join Apple’s Products Law Group. This is a chance to be part of a hands-on team, dedicated to supporting key engineering and operations teams within Apple.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant legal experience advising and working on technology-related issues, including negotiating and drafting technology and commercial agreements
  • Strong negotiator with good business acumen and creative problem-solving skills, who is well-versed in structuring and drafting agreements, including commercial, licensing and other technology agreements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills and ability to innovate and solve problems
  • Enjoys building strong client relationships and works well and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance in areas such as product liability, trade compliance or consumer law a plus
  • Best suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Prior In-house experience preferred but not essential
  • Some travel may be required

Description

You will advise Apple’s hardware engineering and operations teams on a wide variety of matters related to the development of Apple products. You will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including hardware and software technology development agreements, supply agreements and intellectual property licenses, as well as advise clients on day-to-day technology-related legal matters. You will also work as a member of the broader legal team supporting Apple’s products and services, including technology acquisitions.

Education

JD or equivalent from a top-tier law school, excellent academic credentials, and admission to at least one US state bar required.
