Legal Assistant - Intake The candidate will be responsible for data Entry / Intake. Drafting and preparing legal documents (Notice of Entries, Lis Pendens, etc.). Copy, Scan & Mail documents. Data entry on internal spreadsheets and client based computer programs. Review & distribute mail. Prepare finalized legal motions for filing by assembling submission packets. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED required. Associateâ€™s/Bachelorâ€™s Degree preferred. Minimum requirement of 1 -3 years administrative experience with at least 1 year of legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel. Professional written and communication skills. Strong word processing and proofreading skills. Ability to work meticulously to ensure the quality of the product. Must have excellent phone manner and written and oral communication skills. United States work authorization is required.
