Paralegal/Legal Assistant The Candidate will be responsible for draft correspondence and legal documents. create, organize, and maintain case and correspondence files. perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda. file legal documents at federal and state courts using PACER/ECF, OneLegal, or equivalent state court systems. prepare for upcoming trial(s). manage accounts receivable/payable. and otherwise assist attorneys. Great atmosphere and attractive compensation package DOE. Must be able to commit to work 35-40 hours per week.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have BS/BA degrees is preferred. Proficiency in WordPerfect, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs is also required. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Abacus, Abacus Accounting and Billing, Quicken, and QuickBooks is desired. Familiarity with computer networks is preferred. Mastery of the English language is required. Legal experience is preferred.
