Job Overview: A leading law firm specializing in Personal Injury, Employee Rights, and Consumer Class Action lawsuits is seeking an experienced Intake Attorney. This role involves engaging with potential clients, assessing case viability, and signing clients in cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), catastrophic injuries, workplace retaliation, harassment, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, the ability to empathize with clients, and be licensed to practice law in California.
Location:
Duties:
- Evaluate the viability of potential cases in personal injury and employment law.
- Present the strengths and capabilities of the firm to prospective clients, managing expectations and convincing them to sign with the firm.
- Communicate with clients about case progression, including availability during nights and weekends.
- Travel to various locations to meet with and sign clients.
- Guide potential clients through the intake process step-by-step.
Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Minimum of two years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or employment law.
- Strong sales skills with proven ability to close cases.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Empathetic yet persuasive in client interactions.
- Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation processes in personal injury and employment law.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active California State Bar license (required).
Skills:
