Counsel 3 Commercial Deposits and Payments The candidate responsibilities include research and providing legal advice with respect to commercial deposits products, treasury management services and payments systems. Specific responsibilities within these areas of specialization include providing support to various internal lines of business with respect to Treasury Management Services and payments systems; drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts; drafting and reviewing policies and procedures, advising clients regarding new and modified products and services and emerging payments systems, marketing reviews, evaluating the impact of changes in laws and regulations.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have active State Bar membership. Should have 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters is needed. Should have extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries. Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Should have effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Knowledge of UCC articles 3, 4 and 4A, federal banking regulations, Regulation CC, FDIC regulations, and NACHA operating rules is preferred. Basic knowledge of and legal experience in financial services is highly desired. Ability to analyze legal issues in substantive law in area of practice and provide effective advice to clients on complex legal matters is preferred. Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries is desired. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines is desired.
