Senior Manager, Vendor Audit Duties: Manages and reports on an internal monitoring and audit process to ensure compliance with all collection vendors supporting CMA Recovery. Manages third party vendor audits teams to ensure compliance with contractual and operation standards as well as all federal and state regulations. Responsible for providing analysis and recommendations for improved efficiencies and quality improvements. Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. Serve as the CMA point of contact for all broader company-wide and audit reviews pertaining to vendor management. Manage team of exempt and non-exempt personnel both in Riverwoods and remotely. Conduct audits of third party vendors to identify potential areas of risk. Ensure completion of monthly reporting while identifying pertinent trends, communicating observations and findings to mitigate future company exposure. Ensure all compliance issues are brought to the attention of management. Recommend methods to assist in the elimination of high defect areas. Serve as a resource for operating centers Senior Staff.Assist HQ management enhance and/or implement new audits, policies and procedures Works closely with legal, compliance, and audit on CMA reviews. Maintain knowledge of industry standards by attending conferences, seminars and association meetings. Operate within company guidelines using independent discretion or judgement to achieve assigned objectives.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree; Masters or Law Degree preferred. 7+ years' relevant collections and industry experience with strong knowledge of the regulatory environment. Prior experience managing large team of people. Experience developing PowerPoint presentations and presenting to Sr. Leadership audiences. Strong communication and team building skills. Applied critical thinking and analytical skills. Proven experience with Microsoft Office. Must be able to think broadly across the vendor process to surface material issues and define paths to resolution.
