Senior Paralegal - Litigation Duties: Supporting Litigation practice group. A critical part of client service teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters. Work independently and on teams, locally, nationally and globally. Will include assisting attorneys and paralegals locally and in other offices with preparing necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations. Create and maintain production and privilege logs. will also be responsible for locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person, or subject through online research or document reviews. will manage large volumes of documents and data and work with on various cases, review, organize and maintain document databases for discovery, document production and attorney review, and assist attorneys in preparation of pleadings/motions and the coordination of service of process.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. 8+ years litigation experience. Experience in a mid/large law firm or corporate legal department. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Significant experience with e-discovery software, online project collaboration programs, litigation technology software, including but not limited to: CaseMap, TextMap, TimeMap, Sanction, and Relativity. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Good analytical skills. Preferred Requirements: Experience with Westlaw, Nexis/Lexis & Bloomberg. Experience using PACER and Courtlink. Experience with cite-checking, such as with the Blue Book. Advanced understanding of Federal, State and local rules of procedure as well as court filing procedures, electronic as well as hard copy. Ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment for resolution. Experience with preparations related to trial, deposition, arbitration, mediation and regulatory hearings.
