Deputy Attorney General 1 (Section Chief) Duties: The candidate will provides counsel and representation to all of the Section’s clients; will oversee the Section; plans and manages the supervision and operations of the Section; assigns matters and supervises all Deputy Attorneys General in the Section; evaluates the performance of assigned Deputy Attorneys General; conducts case file reviews; performs other duties as required.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification: The candidate should have Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor. Admission to practice as an Attorney at Law in the State of New Jersey is required. Must have 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, 2+ years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity. Experience in the areas of affirmative litigation, qui tam litigation, consumer protection law, and/or the New Jersey False Claims Act is preferred.
