Employment Litigation Associate
Duties: Performing legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, motions and pleadings, attending court conferences, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, and drafting of position statements and dispositive motions, employee handbooks, policies, etc. Will handle multiple writing, publishing and speaking opportunities.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: JD Degree. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas. Excellent academics (e.g., top 25% of law school class) are expected. Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice throughout employment. 3+ years of employment litigation experience; wage and hour experience is preferred. Excellent analytical and writing skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; passion for client service and practice development.

"Excellent Pay"

I would like to see better management put into place so that the work load is better balanced throughout the weeks and the months. This way there is always work to be done without being overwhelmed.

Pros : The starting pay is excellent and the benefits (such as 401K) are top notch. I also found everyone to be very helpful and the work environment was very laid back.
Cons : The overall work load on a day to day basis had too much variance. On some days I would have to work well past my normal hours into the night. During other day's I was left with nothing to do.
