Tax Planning Counsel The candidate will provide tax planning and advisory services in the area of supply chain planning. Will evaluate tax implications of supply chain alternatives through financial modeling, including the tax implications of proposed production-related capital expenditures. Develop innovative tax solutions to enable the company to achieve supply chain initiatives. Manage projects involving multiple international tax issues and opportunities across countries, divisions, geographic areas, business groups, and staff functions. Team with other tax department personnel and/or company personnel as needed for special projects. Provide international tax planning support for M&A.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited law school. CPA is an asset. Must have 7 years of international tax advisory experience in a law firm, multinational corporation, or big four consulting firm. Should preferably be admitted to practice in Minnesota or eligible for admission within six months of employment. Financial modeling experience is desired. Ability to communicate tax concepts to an audience with limited tax knowledge is a plus.
