Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks an experienced Attorney to advocate for injured clients with intelligence, compassion, and dedication. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team focused on maximizing case outcomes and delivering justice for clients. As part of the team, the attorney will be instrumental in driving cases toward full recovery, while contributing to a culture of mentorship, teamwork, and client-first service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client Intake & Initial Consultations:
    • Build rapport with clients through compassionate engagement.
    • Thoroughly document key details related to liability, damages, and coverage.
    • Create clear action plans for client and office tasks to position cases strategically.
  • Case Investigation:
    • Lead investigations to gather critical evidence and strengthen cases for trial.
    • Assess insurance coverage and other resources essential to case success.
  • Negotiation & Settlement:
    • Prepare cases with a focus on achieving the Full Settlement Value.
    • Maintain and nurture relationships with adjusters, while negotiating aggressively on behalf of clients.
    • File suit when needed and guide clients through the legal proceedings.
  • Litigation & Trial Preparation:
    • Draft pleadings and discovery documents for litigation.
    • Strategize, prepare and execute for trial, mediation, or arbitration.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Review and sign off on team members' correspondence.
    • Collaborate closely with the legal team to ensure smooth and efficient case progression.
    • Attend daily team huddles and meetings for case updates and strategy alignment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining high standards of client care and legal practice.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Compassionate approach to client care and strong negotiating skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to secure favorable settlements.
  • Expertise in drafting legal documents and conducting thorough legal research.
  • Proficiency in case management software and legal tools.

Job Location:

  • Scottsdale, AZ (Relocation support provided)
