Paralegal The candidate assists and provides a range of legal support to all lawyers and other legal professionals. Performs records research. Calculates litigation costs. Opens new case files and prepares needed documents. Requests medical records. Prepares and submits all e-filings in all courts. Prepares and submits all WWCAIS and appeal filings. Drafts and answers Interrogatories. Responds to requests for production of documents. Drafts Mediation statements. Prepares case management and conference memos. Monitors treatment of all clients in active cases. Coordinates law office activities such as subpoena delivery. Manages and coordinates the filing of old files sent to storage. Must have high level of proficiency in Abacus and Office 365. Must have proficiency in internet research activities. Familiarity with document management software is essential. Should have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Associate Degree or University degree from an accredited institution is essential.
