Transactional Attorney
The candidate will have 3 years of transactional experience. Employment law experience preferred. Mid-level or senior associate preferred. Illinois licensed attorney.. Focus on transactional matters and business counseling. This can include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements and policies, such as operating agreements, purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and employment contracts on behalf of businesses. The transactional attorney may also draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts for executives and physicians. This position will also be expected to advise and guide clients through complex and sometimes emotional matters. This position requires strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and creativity. In addition to transactional matters and advising clients, this attorney will take direction from more senior attorneys, collaborate with other attorneys and staff, and mentor less experienced colleagues and staff. Employment law experience preferred. Effective client management and counseling. Ability to analyze complex factual and legal issues. Strategic and creative thinker. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, expectations, and needs. Proactive attitude and ability to work well independently, but also within a team structure. Demonstrative dependability, reliability, and punctuality. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and ability to summarize information clearly and concisely. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word are essential.
