Legal Assistant The candidate will provide administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys and provide backup to other attorneys as requested. Assist with administrative tasks as it relates to the specific office and attorneys. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is needed. E-filing knowledge in preparation to file all types of discovery requests, responses to opposing counsel, and motions is needed. Knowledge of legal documents and terminology is essential. Knowledge of civil litigation procedures are needed. Knowledge of expense reporting, billing and dictation is needed. Assist with calendar calls and deposition scheduling, as needed. Assist with travel plans, as needed. Civil Litigation Experience is needed. Insurance coverage experience is preferred. Excellent writing and communication skills is needed. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs are needed. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles. Ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy.
