A law firm in Santa Monica, CA, is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Partner to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a full book of business in litigation and showcase exceptional legal skills and client management expertise. Attorneys from major law firms with a lower-level book of business will also be considered.

Duties:

  • Manage and expand a full book of business in litigation, ensuring high client satisfaction and meeting revenue targets.
  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients in various litigation matters, including commercial disputes, tort claims, and regulatory issues.
  • Oversee all phases of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal.
  • Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative team environment.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Stay current with legal developments and industry trends to provide strategic and informed advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing litigation at a reputable law firm.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a full book of business in litigation (or a demonstrable partial book of business with a solid business plan).
  • Strong trial and negotiation skills with a history of successful client outcomes.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certification in Litigation (if applicable).
