San Diego office of our client seeks fair housing attorney with 2-3 years of experience practicing landlord-tenant. The candidate will be working with clients to assist them in avoiding potential fair housing liability, negotiates with residents, fair housing advocacy groups and opposing counsel on fair housing matters and provides fair housing trainings (live and via webinar) to clients and industry groups. Will be assisting clients with analysis of fair housing issues. Drafting letters to residents, fair housing advocacy groups and opposing counsel. Drafting agreements for reasonable accommodations and modifications. Reviewing lease documents for fair housing compliance. Drafting opinion letters on complex fair housing issues. Providing fair housing trainings (live trainings and webinars) for clients and industry organizations. Both fair housing and landlord-tenant experience is preferred. Pro Law experience is desired. Previous public speaking and/or webinar training experience is plus. Experience writing articles for industry publications is desired. Affordable housing experience and bilingual (Spanish) skills a bonus.
