Duties:

• Represent clients in family law court proceedings and negotiation settings.
• Perform thorough legal research and analysis to build strong case foundations.
• Draft and review essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Communicate proactively and professionally with clients and opposing counsel.
• Remain updated on relevant legal procedures, regulations, and state law changes.
• Manage individual caseloads efficiently, meeting necessary deadlines and requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic approaches for each case.
• Represent the firm in legal organizations and professional associations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active membership in the Virginia State Bar.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on family law preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar (mandatory).

Skills:

• Advanced research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
