Paralegal Candidate will function as a key component in the delivery of client service by providing direct paralegal services and administrative support to assigned attorneys. Will have significant, constant client contact and will participate in client meetings, as needed. Assist in transactional business, including formation of entities, business licenses, drafting contracts, notes, and other related documents. Assist in the management and administration of trusts. High level of client interaction. Proactive in taking on increasing responsibilities. Work independently, initiate and finalize tasks without constant supervision/management. Provide administrative support for assigned attorneys. Embrace and champion changes in area that will improve the client experience and/or the firm’s ability to deliver on its values and commitments. Work collaboratively with all members of team and across teams to create an environment that fosters trust, accountability, and respect.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Paralegal Degree; ABA approved Paralegal Certificate or 5+ years previous experience in a legal office environment. Familiarity with legal databases, e.g. Westlaw. Familiarity with Perfect Law or similar Legal Documentation systems. Ability to set and manage goals, timelines and priorities. Ability to problem solve with less than ideal information. Ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills and ease with both telephone and in-person contacts. Ability to manage multiple deadlines/priorities.
