Commercial Banking Global Digital Eco System – Platform Manager
The candidate will work closely with the Head of CCB Global Digital Eco System to deliver the vision for a truly remarkable Commercial eco system. The successful candidate for this high impact role requires knowledge of commercial/corporate client’s needs, expertise in building or shaping online strategies for banks, familiarity with external eco systems and exposure to bank and CX/UX technology. Will provide leadership and expertise in defining the scope and vision of the platform and work with internal and external partners to deliver this client facing platform. Define the overall vision for the platform in conjunction with CCB Regional partners, internal product partners and clients. Continuously enhance the platform with client value added assets, which would include enabling bank’s online assets and potential partners. Engage with technology partners, bank Fintech and other external providers to determine the best approach for the development of the platform. Create a framework for continuous development of the platform. i.e. a global prioritization framework. Ensure that the team is a proactive conduit between bank’s Global Consumer Bank (GCB), Commercial Bank (CCB) and Institutional Clients Group (ICG) to maximize bank’s holistic position. Work closely with ICG/GCB product and functional teams to leverage the best practices and resolve any duplications/conflicts. Create a construct for obtaining continuous client feedback and ensure that the development framework incorporates this feedback as the key consideration. Assist in evaluating the external competitive environment for bank online platforms and other allied eco systems. Sets business plans, strategic goals for self and the team and partners with them to define a vision for the unit/area. Expeditiously identifies market trends and disruptions that impact the organization and/or its clients; is agile in recommending solutions. Open to risk taking by challenging the status quo and actively encouraging others to be bold- rewarding and recognizing both successes and test and learn examples. Inspires enthusiasm, empowers the organization and mobilizes colleagues, team, seniors and internal partners for innovative change. Proficient negotiating ability. Qualification and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred / JD (legal) background an advantage. Should have 12 – 15 years of management experience in Transaction Banking, Commercial Banking or Consulting with expertise in financial services and knowledge in partnerships and Fin Tech. Having developed platforms or ecosystems will be a definite advantage. In depth knowledge of financial services, digital commerce, payment industry is required. Must have superior relationship management skills. Prior P&L management experience, strong financial acumen and ability to think strategically is required. Experience leading cross-functional / matrix teams, through a clear and consistent line of sight regarding critical work activities is required. Experience managing virtual teams is required.
