I do not have any advice to the firm management. As I have indicated, I believe Hinshaw is a well-managed law firm.
Pros : Hinshaw & Culbertson is a well-managed firm. The working environment is professional. Associates receive yearly performance reviews and also are eligible to receive bonuses based on their amount of billable hours. I worked there as an associate for approximately 5 years and found it to be a generally very good working environment.Cons : In my opinion, like many or most large law firms, Hinshaw seems to reward attorneys who bring in clients/work (rainmakers), much more than it values the attorneys who work for the clients and whose excellent work is required to keep the clients satisfied.
