The candidate will primarily handle retention of experts and pre-trial preparation, assist with summarizing large volumes of documents and medical records, and provide assistance with discovery work up. Should have a paralegal certificate. Should preferably have 3-6 years of experience and must be extremely organized and self-motivated. High level of computer competency, in the complete MS Office Suite required. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage document file system, e-Copy, and PDF conversion is also required.

"Not Worth the Daily Perks"

HR was an active hindrance to job performance; figure out why. Work on the firm's reputation in the greater legal community, as the best and brightest people will be concerned about working at a firm that might harm their future prospects.

Pros : The day to day working conditions are pretty good here. They have some nice in-office perks that make it pleasant, and it felt like you had some flexibility to determine what kind of assignments you wanted to specialize in, which might be particularly valuable for younger attorneys.
Cons : Your work-life balance here will probably not be particularly harmonious, and the pay does not really reflect the efforts they want from you and the expensive cost of living in the area. HR is exceptionally difficult to work with as well. I have also heard from other people at different firms that the firm has a reputation for lacking high ethical standards - this is really something that needs to be addressed, as I have heard multiple people say these sorts of things.
