Litigation Paralegal The candidate responsibilities include: Case administration; Drafting and filing legal documents; Scheduling expert witnesses and depositions; Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, courts and vendors; Reviewing medical and business records for preparation of detailed chronologies; Trial preparation; Assisting with special projects as assigned. Should have 5+ years of experience and desire to work in a variety of defense litigation practice areas with strong emphasis on medical malpractice. Must have advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Should be proficient with pdf conversion software. Must have current working knowledge of litigation support databases. Should have experience with uploading to document management systems. Must have knowledge of State and Federal court rules and procedures. Paralegal certificate a plus.
