Mortgage Closing Specialist I The candidate will be ensuring accurate preparation and completion of Real Estate Closings for an individual pipeline in accordance with loan parameters, investor guidelines, secondary market guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal process. Ensure timeliness of loan progress and completion of actions within required expirations. Respond to all inquiries, including customers, attorneys, and other internal departments in a timely manner. Coordinate communication between customers, attorneys, and other lending operations or secondary personnel as needed to facilitate timely collection of outstanding documentation and scheduling of real estate closing. Comply with required system documentation to ensure accurate reporting and transmission of critical loan set-up information to the servicing system. Perform timely and accurate loan disbursements to ensure coordination of secondary market sale requirements. Perform all required post-closing activities such as holdout escrows, final title policies, and miscellaneous file requirements. Maintain accurate reference materials. Conduct regulatory compliance audits. Preparation of documentation in accordance to loan parameters and regulatory guidelines. Collection and approval of all necessary documentation for satisfaction of pre-closing loan conditions and title curatives. Present and explain both standard secondary forms and organizationâ€™s mortgage documents to the customers and their attorneys. Collection of all compliance documentation including IRS filing documentation. Collection and approval of all necessary documentation for satisfaction of at closing conditions and curatives both underwriting and title. Maintain final interaction with customer in accordance to customer experience standards. Should preferably have Associates Degree or equivalent mortgage/closing/paralegal experience. High school diploma or High school equivalency diploma is required. Should have 2+ years of Mortgage Lending experience or real estate paralegal experience. Licensed notary public is needed. Strong negotiation skills is must. Solid math and calculation skills is needed. Knowledge of title searches to determine ownership and lien status of properties. Prior experience in title commitment and survey reviews is must. Proficient in PC usage; speed and accuracy is required.
