Paralegal The candidate provides support to the Customer Service and Legal department in areas related to customer service liability claims, and other areas as assigned by management. Provides support to practicing attorneys to insure that the Company, its assets, and its activities are legally safeguarded, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and do not unduly expose the Company to liability. Assists in implementing solutions and resolution to existing claims or potential legal and regulatory issues involving the Company. Assists in timely and appropriately responding to subpoenas and notices of violation received by the company. Researches and analyzes legal sources such as statutes, regulations, case law, legal articles, etc. and drafts summary's summarizing the same. Maintains knowledge of specific legal and regulatory requirements and Company policies and procedures. Assists Customer Service specialists when guidance is needed. Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management. Must have Associate's or Bachelor's Degree. Should preferably have degree in Paralegal or Legal field. 1-2 years related experience is desired. Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, Access and other MS Office suite applications is required.
